Wheel of God

Water Wheels of Mill at Gennep

You are a wheel at which I stand,
whose dark spokes sometimes catch me up,
revolve me nearer to the center.
Then all the work I put my hand to
widens from turn to turn.

From The Book of Hours I, 45

  1. Writing like this just leaves me awed.

  2. Just writing in to tell you that I'm a big fan of your blog. I read every update. Love Rilke, and Rumi too!

  3. I need to place my work into such thoughts

"Everything is blooming most recklessly; if it were voices instead of colors, there would be an unbelievable shrieking into the heart of the night."

~ Rainer Maria Rilke

Go ahead, bloom recklessly!
